Alone, but not lonely for when I sit and look out at nature and there's no one nearby, trying to influence, impress or critique It is then I feel how close God embraces me, It is then I feel my lungs inflate with a breath of freedom and tranquility. It is then I hear the sound of chirping crickets, the waves, and wind on the trees. It is then I see the sky, the horizon, the mountain peaks, and the sun setting. It is then I know who is my best friend, whose companionship will never end. and it is then I know how much I'm loved, how much I'm blessed, And I could never be lonely for I am never really alone, with the Lord God Almighty.
